Visit of H.E. Mr. Shivshankar Menon, Foreign Secretary of India to Tehran(Dec 2007)
H.E. Mr. Shivshankar Menon, Foreign Secretary of India visited Tehran from 15-18 December 2007 to hold the strategic dialogue and consultations between the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. December 15-18, 2007
2. Apart from holding extensive consultations with his counterpart Mr. Mahdi Safari, Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Menon met with H.E. Mr. Manouchehr Mottaki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, H.E. Mr. Saeed Jalili, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council, H.E. Dr. Dawoud Danesh Jafari, Minister of Finance, H.E. Mr. Gholam Hossein Nozari, Minister of Petroleum and H.E. Mr. Alaedin Boroujerdi, Chairman of National Security and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Majlis. The two sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and expressed their commitment to further developing bilateral relations. The two sides also reviewed regional and international issues of mutual interest and stated that cooperation will be expanded on regional issues of mutual concern.
